Question : Tenth Schedule to APR Act 2014

(a) whether it is true that as per Tenth Schedule to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (APR) Act, 2014, 107 institutions have to be divided;

(b) if so, the reasons for delay in dividing institutions under the Tenth Schedule;

(c) whether the Government has found any contentious issues in dividing institutions between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; and

(d) if so, the details thereof along with the time by which division of the said institutions are likely to be finalised?

(a) to (d): The Tenth Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (APR) Act, 2014 initially contained a list of 107 Training Institutions/Centres and later on, 35 more Institutions were included vide Gazette Notification No. G.S.R. 369 (E) dated 07.05.2015. The Tenth Schedule is governed by Section 75 of the APR Act which does not envisage division of Institutions/Centres included therein.
