Question : Variants of Social Security Schemes

(a) whether the Government proposes to launch variants of the existing social security schemes including Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the blue print prepared /proposed to be prepared and funds allocated/proposed to be allocated by the Government in this regard?

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE

(a): No, Madam. Government has no proposal to launch variants of the existing social security schemes of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

(b) & (c): In view of reply to (a) above, do not arise.
