(a) whether proposals regarding development works for sports have been received from Bihar during the last three years;
(b) the details of the said work proposals;
(c) the present status of the said proposals;
(d) the funds allocated/released/utilised so far for the approved work proposals; and
(e) the reasons for pendency of the proposals which have not been approved yet?

(a) to (d) Yes, Sir. A total of 11 proposals under the Khelo India Scheme have been sanctioned and administrative approvals for the same have been conveyed to the State Government of Bihar. The details are at Annexure.
(e) The Union Government keeps receiving proposals from various State/Union Territory Governments from time to time. Project proposals are sanctioned according to the parameters of the Scheme subject to their completeness, technical feasibility and availability of funds under the Scheme.
