(a),(b),(c) and (d): The applications for starting domestic air services are processed as per the laid down procedure detailed in various Civil Aviation Requirements issued by the Director General of Civil Aviation.
As per the procedure applications which are complete in all respects and cleared from security angle by Ministry of Home Affairs are considered for sanctioning `No Objection Certificate` for starting air transport operation. On getting `No Objection Certificate` the applicants are required to fulfill certain conditions within a precribed period for being eligible to get air transport operator`s permit.
During the year 2000, 2001 and 2002 (upto November) `No Objection Certificates` have been issued to 27 applicants.Applications of M/S Crown Express, M/S Neutral Engineers, M/S Ennoble Airways, M/S Thomas Cook and M/S Leela Aviation have been rejected/deferred due to non-availability of security clearance and/or for other deficiencies.
The following eight private companies which have fulfilled the eligibility conditions have been granted operator`s permit (Non-Scheduled):
1. M/S J.K. Corp 2. M/s Escorts Ltd. 3. M/s Reliance Transport Travels Ltd. 4. M/s Jindal Strips Ltd., 5. M/s Himalayan Heli Services Pvt. Ltd. 6. M/s Bilakhia Holding Pvt 7. M/s Enbee Aviation Ltd., 8. M/s RC Aviation India Pvt.Ltd.
