(a) whether the activities of terrorists/Naxal/Militants have increased in the country
particularly in J&K and North Eastern States;
(b) if so, the details of such incidents taking place during 2006-2007, State and Union
Territory-wise;
(c) the number of security persons and civilians killed/injured, State and Union Territory-wise;
(d) the number of terrorists killed/arrested in encounters, State-wise;
(e) the details of arms and ammunitions recovered from terrorists;
(f) whether the Government has any plan to provide security to vital installations, State
and Union Territorywise;
(g) if so, the details thereof, State and Union Territory-wise;
(h) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(i) the steps taken by the Government in this regard?
