Question : Public Investment in Agriculture

(a) whether the Government has formulated the National Agriculture Development Scheme with the main objective of boosting public investment in agriculture and allied sectors;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the names of the States where the said scheme is operational; and

(d) whether any scheme has been formulated in districts and States on the basis of climatic conditions for agriculture, technologies and availability of natural resources; and

(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e): No such Scheme has been formulated by this Ministry. However, Government of India has launched the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (ABA) to strengthen Infrastructure, Logistics, Capacity Building, Governance and Administrative Reforms for Agriculture.
