(a) the progress made in regard to 121-Km long proposed National Highway (N.H.28-B) from Chhapva to border of Uttar Pradesh;
(b) whether process of land acquisition for construction of the said National Highway has been completed; and
(
(c) if so, the time by which the construction work is likely to be started ?

(a) Existing state road between Chhapva and Bihar/Uttar Pradesh border has been declared as NH-28-B and has been entrusted to the State Government of Bihar for development and maintenance in February, 2005.
(b) Detailed investigations are needed for the improvement works. Hence no land acquisition is involved at this stage.
(c) Does not arise.
