Question : PACKAGES FOR NEW STATES

(a) whether the Government has released any special package for the overall development of newly created States like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand under the Eleventh Five Year Plan;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the allocations made under this package;

(c) if not, whether such package is proposed to be included in the next Five Year Plan; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): No special package has been given to the States of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand during the Eleventh Five Year Plan.

(c) & (d): The proposals for the 12th Five Year Plan have not been prepared yet.
