(a) whether Hotel Ashok owes New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Rs.18.75 crores;
(b) if so, whether NDMC has sent any notice to the hotel authorities for payment of dues; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the steps proposed to be taken to recover the outstanding dues?

(a) and (b): No, Sir. However, NDMC has sent a Property Tax Bill for Rs.18.75 crores
for the period ending March, 2002. The basis of calculating rateable value has been
challenged by ITDC in the Court of District Judge, Delhi and the matter is sub-judice.
(c): Does not arise.
