(a) the funds proposed to be allocated to each State including Uttar Pradesh during the
Eleventh Five Year Plan, State-wise;
(b) whether this allocation is as per the proposal sent by the State Governments;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reason therefor?

(a) to (d): The Eleventh Plan (2007-12) Outlay (at 2006-07 price level) for States finalised at
the National Development Council meeting held in December, 2007 is at Annexure. The size
of the Plan of States, which is funded by the State’s own resources and Central assistance, is
finalised after discussions with the State Governments based on an assessment of resource
availability.
