Question : ACP SCHEME FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF



(a) whether the Union Government have approved ACP Scheme for the Non-Teaching Staff working in various Government aided schools under the 5th Pay Commission Report;

(b) if so, whether the scheme is applicable to the Non-Teaching Employees of the Government aided schools in Delhi also;

(c) whether there is any proposal pending with the Government to extent ACP Scheme to Non-Teaching Staff of Government aided schools in regard to salary as well as pension;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The ACP Scheme introduced by the Government on the recommendations of the Fifth Central Pay Commission is applicable to the employees of the Central Government/Union Territory Administrations. For employees of other organization funded/aided by the Central Government, including Government aided Schools, the question of extension of the benefit of the ACP Scheme has to be examined by the concerned authorities responsible for funding such organizations, keeping, inter-alia, the availability of additional funds for the purpose.

(b): Information is being collected and will be laid on the Table of the House.

(c): No such proposal is presently pending in the Ministry of Personnel, P.G. and Pensions in this regard.

(d) & (e): Does not arise.
