Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) the present status regarding setting up of Naturopathy Research Centre in Kayani, West Bengal;

(b) whether the Government proposes to set up Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) Medical College in Belur, West Bengal and if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the amount sanctioned during the last three years for the development of AYUSH in West Bengal?

(a): The Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN), an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH has conveyed, in principle, approval of the Government for setting up of a Central Research Institute including 100 bedded Hospital of Yoga & Naturopathy in Kalyani, West Bengal to the State Government for transferring the land in the name of the Council.

(b): No such proposal is under consideration.

(c): The amount sanctioned during the last three years for development of AYUSH in West Bengal is as indicated below: -
