(a) the number of persons on waiting lists for LPG connections in Jamnagar district of Gujarat up to January 31, 2000;
(b) the time by which connections are likely to be provided to all of them;
(c) the number of domestic and commercial LPG connections provided in the district during the year 1998,1999 and upto 31.1.2000;
(d) the number of domestic and commercial connections targeted to be provided during the year 2000 and 2001 and the steps taken to meet the targets ?

(a) The number of persons in the waiting list registered with distributors of PSU Oil Companies in the Jamnagar District of Gujarat as on 31.1.2000 is 4362.
(b) to (d): New LPG connections are released in a Phased manner throughout the country depending upon the LPG availability, waiting list, slack available with the distributors and their viability. However the Govt. has a plan to release 1 crore LPG connections during the year 2000 to clear all waiting list registered with the distributors of PSU Oil Companies as on 1-12-1999.
