(a) & (b) 22 numbers of mobile towers have been setup in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh under phase-I of installation of mobile towers project in Left Wing Extremism (LWE) areas. In LWE phase-II plan, which was approved by the Telecom Commission on 21.12.2017 for seeking Cabinet approval, 26 numbers of additional mobile towers are proposed in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The time line for implementation for LWE Phase-II is 18 months from the date of signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the implementing agency.
