(a) Government has terminated a number of National Highways projects in the past on account of failure in achieving condition precedent either by the Authority or the concessionaire and also due to unwillingness of the concessionaire to implement the project. Projects are terminated as a last resort where developers are not able to carry out works. Thereafter such projects are restructured and re-bid.

(b) The details of National Highways projects awarded between 2010 and 2012 and their status, project-wise, are placed at Annexure.

(c) Currently physical progress of work on Mannuthy-Vadakkanchery section of NH 47 in the State of Kerala is 12.5 %.
