(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore (CIIL) and its Regional Language Centres (RLCs) look after the promotion of various Indian languages including Konkani. Grants are released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to CILL and RLCs for implementation of schemes for development and promotion of Indian languages. During the last three years CIIL has conducted various academic programmes for Konkani language and released grants as under:-
