(a) whether the Government has received any representation from public representatives to provide stoppage of Punjab Mail (up-down) and Kisan Express (up-down) at Sandila railway station, a very important railway station, in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the action taken or being taken by the Government thereon?

(a) to (c) Representations have been received for provision of stoppage of trains at Sandila. Stoppage of additional trains at Sandila station, which is already catered to by 10 pairs of Mail/Express trains and 4 pairs of Passenger trains, has not been found operationally feasible and commercially justified, at present.
