Will the Minister of AYURVEDA,YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA ANDHOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that the Government is in process to establish the Satellite Centers of existing National Institutes, if so, the details;
(b) whether the Government has any plan to setup any of the Satellite Center in the Northeast India, if so, the details thereof; and
(c)if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): National Institute of Ayurveda at Panchkula (Haryana), All India Institute of Ayurveda at Goa, National Institute of Unani Medicine at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) and National Institute of Homoeopathy at New Delhi are being established as Satellite Centers of the existing Institutes.
(b): No.
(c): Two National Institutes namely National Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy at Shillong (Meghalaya) and North Eastern Institute of Folk Medicine at Pasighat (Arunachal Pradesh) already exist in the North East India.
