(a) the details of the contributions made by the Government to the ration distributed through Public Distribution System (PDS) in Gujarat;

(b) whether the Central Government has conducted or proposes to conduct Audit of the Public Distribution System; and

(a): The Targeted Public Distribution System is governed as per provisions of the National Food Security Act, 2013. Government of Gujarat has implemented National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013 with effect from April, 2016. The current allocation of foodgrains (rice and wheat) to Government of Gujarat is 182196.95 metric ton per month (54659.085 MT rice and 127537.865 MT wheat).

(b) & (c): To monitor the implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA) 2013 and to evaluate its impact among targeted beneficiaries, Government of India has engaged 13 reputed institutes as Monitoring Institutions (MIs) for concurrent evaluation of NFSA in States/UTs.
