(a) whether most of the cases of compassionate appointment of the dependents of deceased personnel in the Indian Navy are lying pending for the last five years, particularly of those who were deployed in Mumbai;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons for the pendency of such cases; and
(c) the time by which they are likely to be given appointment on compassionate ground?
