(a) the number of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposals received, approved and funds allocated separately for the construction of National Highways during each of the last three years, State-wise; and
(b) the present status of projects under FDI and by when these projects are likely to be completed, project-wise?

(a) and (b) 100% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on automatic route is permitted in the Highway Sector. In addition, many foreign developers form joint ventures with Indian companies to bid for various National Highways projects.
