(a) to (ej: According to the information furnished-by the University of Delhi, in the pre-revised
syllabus of MA. (Political Science), the paper on Gandhiaa thought and action was an optional paper.
This paper was offered only by a small fraction of students and the majority was deprived of the
opportunity to know and appreciate Gancthian thought. Gandhian thought and ideas have, therefore,
been included as an integral part of different compulsory courses in the revised syllabus.
