(a) the number of railway ticket reservation counters in the country, district-wise;
(b) whether the Government has formulated any plan to increase the timings of these counters;

(d) whether the Government has received any proposal to increase the timing of railway ticket reservation counter in Tonk district of Rajasthan; and

(a) At present, about 11950 railway ticket reservation counters are available at 3312 locations in the country. District-wise record is not maintained.
(b) & (c) Instructions have been issued to Zonal Railways for opening of computerised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters beyond 2000 hours on weekdays and beyond 1400 hours on Sundays subject to demand from passengers and availability of manpower.
