(a) and (b): Yes Sir. Krishi Udaan Scheme has been approved on 10 September 2020 for application on pan-India basis covering all States and Union Territories (UTs). States and UTs from which air transportation of fruits and vegetables took place under convergence of the Scheme with the Operation Greens Scheme (TOP to TOTAL) since November 2020 are Assam, Manipur and Tripura from the North Eastern Region and Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from the Himalayan Region. Air transportation has also been coordinated and facilitated under the Scheme by Ministry of Civil Aviation from various originating airports that service agri-product clusters in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Ladakh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.;
(c) and (d): Yes Sir. The Krishi Udaan Scheme focuses on improvement of value realization, especially in North-East and tribal districts, through convergence with various schemes of Ministries/ Departments concerned, including those of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, for (i) facilitation of movement of agri-produce by air, (ii) increasing freight capacity and the expanse of aircraft movements, (iii) strengthening cargo-related infrastructure at airports and at off-airports locations, and (iv) incentivisation of air transportation of agri-produce.
