(a) in details of success achieved by the Government under the Comprehensive Employment Generation Scheme through science & technology;
(b) the guidelines issued to the State Government in this regard; and
(c) the amount released by the Union Government during 1999-2000 under the scheme?

(a), (b) & (c), The Government is not implementing any scheme entitled `Comprehensive Employment Generation Scheme through Science and Technology`. However, a scheme entitled `Mass Employment Generation through Science and Technology (MEGSAT)` was initiated during 1990-91 and continued till 1996-97. The MEGSAT scheme was wounded up in 1996-97.
