(a)&(b): Cochin Port is the only major port in Kerala. The Central Government has been receiving proposal from Government of Kerala for the development of International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) at Vallarpadam in Cochin Port area and its connectivity with Railways and National Highways. These projects have been included in the Integrated Development Plan for Cochin Port as part of the on-going process for development of the port.
