(a) whether approval for the Relining of Raja- sthan feeder (Punjab Region) has been accorded;
(b) if so, the funds sanctioned along with the time by which work will be executed by the Pun- jab Government;
(c) whether the funds demanded by the Punjab Government for the execution of said works have been released by the Government;
(d) if so, whether the work has been started by the Punjab Government; and
(e) if not, the action taken by the Government thereon?

(a)to(c) Yes, Madam. The Planning commission granted the investment clearance for Rs. 952.10 crore for “Relining of Rajasthan Feeder, Punjab” The project was to be completed by March, 2014. An amount of Rs. 105.84 crore was released under Accelerated Irrigation Benefits programme (AIBP) during 2010-11 to the project.
(d)&(e) No physical and financial progress has been achieved till date.
