(a) whether entry of multinational companies has been cited as one of the reasons for the
sickness of Instrumentation Limited, Kota;
(b) if so, whether the Government has taken any preventive measures in this regard;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the steps being taken to revive the company alongwith the amount spent thereon?

(a): Competition from both domestic and multinational companies is one of the reasons for the
sickness of Instrumentation Ltd, Kota.
(b)&(c): As per policy of the Government, Public Sector Enterprises are also expected to work in
a competitive environment.
(d): Package for revival of the company as a whole is under active consideration of the
Government.
