Question : RTI Cases in States

(a) whether the Government has taken note of the new study on the working of RTI in States which indicated that applicants have to wait for decades for reply to their RTI queries;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto; and

(c) the steps being taken to improve the working of RTI in States?

(a) to (c): Madam, no study has come to the notice of the Government till date in respect of such working of RTI in the States.
