(a) whether the Government of Rajasthan has sent a proposal to the Union Government to sanction Rs.377.75 lac for establishment of `Information, Education and Communication Centre` in Indira
Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Gramin Vikas Sansthan Jaipur; and
(b) if so, the time by which the proposal is likely to be sanctioned after due consideration?

(a) & (b) The Ministry of Panchayati Raj have not received any proposal from the Government of Rajasthan
to sanction Rs.377.75 lakh for the establishment of an `Information, Education and Communication Centre` in the
Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Gramin Vikas Sansthan, Jaipur. However, the Ministry of Rural Development have
received such a proposal. The proposal was not agreed to by the Departmental Screening Committee of the Ministry
in its meeting held on the 29th July, 2004.
