(a) whether the Working Group on nutrition constituted by NITI Aayog has submitted its report;
(b) if so, the outcome thereof ;
(c) if not, whether the Working Group has been given any time frame to submit it recommendations and if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the Government has taken all precautionary measures to safeguard against vested interests hijacking public policy; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) No, Madam.

(b) Question does not arise.

(c) The Working Group on Nutrition stands dissolved after the Ministry of Women & Child Development’s Notification No.ND-T-11/5/2016-ND-Tech dated 15th December,2017 constituting National Technical Board on Nutrition to examine all technical issues related to Nutrition.

(d) and (e) Yes. It has been clearly articulated in the National Nutrition Strategy 2017 “An underlying principle of action is that policy development and programme implementation must be transparent, open to public scrutiny and kept free from conflict of interest, with requisite safeguards. (This includes ensuring that representation on policy, technical advisory groups and various management committees at different levels is free from conflict of interest.)”Chapter 5, Page 28.
