Question : INVESTIGATION OF COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES

(a) whether the Government have asked the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate into the construction of commercial and residential structures i.e. Five Star Restaurants, Boutiques and big Showromms etc. in villages in the Capital;

(b) if so, the reasons for not including villages like Ghitorni, Rangpuri, Mahipalpur and Samalkha where a large number of commercial activities are going on;

(c) whether the CBI has since submitted any report in this regard; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a)&(b): Some cases of gross violation of Building By-laws, particularly in regard to the ground coverage, parking, set-back lines, Floor Area Ratio (FAR), basement etc. in the residential and commercial structures in Ghitorni, Manglapuri, Park View Apartments, Ladoo Sarai, Hauz Khas Village, Greater Kailash, Shalimar Bagh, Pitampura, Mahipalpur, jaunpur, Rohini Plotted Area and Old Rajinder Nagar have been referred to the CBI for investigation.
