(a) whether the report of the Javed Chowdhury Committee regarding the salaries, emoluments and
other benefits to the doctors of the Central Health Service has been considered by the Government;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which a decision thereon is likely to be announced including the benefits proposed to be
made available to the doctors?

(a) to (e): The Report of the Javed Chowdhury Committee is at an advanced stage of consideration by
the Government. However, in the meantime the Government has announced setting up of the Sixth Central Pay
Commission. The recommendations also involve consultation with the other Government agencies. Therefore,
no time frame can be indicated for a decision on the report.
