Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is aware that the studies conducted on certain Ayurvedic medicines as immunity boosters in Kerala have drawn international attention;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether it is a fact that many nations have included these findings in their respective health programmes; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Ministry of AYUSH has conducted studies on Ayurvedic medicines as immunity boosters all over the country including Kerala. Total 109 COVID -19 related studies have been conducted at various locations all over the country, out of which 60 studies have been conducted on Ayurvedic medicines with promising results.
As a result, as per the available data, there has been 23.6 % growth in the export of Ayurvedic products world over during the period of April – December 2020- 2021 in comparison to period of April – December 2019 –20.
