THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA)

(a) & (b): There is no proposal to revive and re-start the century-old KGF Hospital at Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) known as ‘BGML Medical Establishment’. Government has decided in 2006 to sell all the assets of the Bharat Gold Mines Limited (BGML) including the Medical Establishment by floating global tender.

All the operations in the Company including the BGML Hospital have been stopped since 2001.
