Question : Status of Proposals from Maharashtra

(a) the number of proposals received from the State Government of Maharashtra regarding youth affairs and sports during the last three years and the cost of those proposals;

(b) the details of proposals approved by the Government and the subjects to which these proposals are related to;

(c) the details of proposals pending at Central level as on date;

(d) whether there is a possibility of delay in achieving the objectives of proposal and likely cost over run due to pendency of proposals; and

(e) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a) Detail of Project/proposals received form Govt. of Maharashtra during last three years are given at Annexure – I

(b) Under Khelo India Scheme the Government has provided the financial support to Government of Maharashtra. Detail of which are given at Annexure-II

(c) Detail of Project/proposals pending under Khelo India Scheme are given at Annexure – III

(d) & (e): Complete proposal DPR containing application form, certificate, drawing & design and estimates of cost if received throughState Government as per provision of Khelo India Scheme, are considered based on its technical feasibility with reference to parameters of the Scheme and subject to availability of funds.
