Question : Decline in FDI Inflow

(a) whether the Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) into India has declined in the financial year 2018-19 as compared to previous years and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government has assessed the reasons for the same;

(c) if so, the details and the findings thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and

(d) whether the Government has the data of FDI invested and/or proposed in the States of Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra during the last three years and if so, the details thereof?

(a): No Sir, Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) has in fact increased in the financial year 2018-19 as compared to previous years. The year-wise increase in FDI inflow can be seen in the following table:
