(a) whether the Government have any policy to increase and improve programmes on Tribal languages on DD /
AIR;
(b) if so, the steps taken / to be taken in this regard; and
(c) the time by which all the Tribal Languages shall have programmes in Doordarshan and All India Radio ?

(a) to (c) : Prasar Bharati has informed that All India Radio Stations and Doordarshan Kendras are already
broadcasting / telecasting programmes in local dialects and tribal languages. Introduction and improvement of
programmes on AIR Stations and Doordarshan Kendras / Regional Channels is an on going process.
