(a)&(b) Government have seen various opinions on the proposed civil nuclear co-operation between
India and the USA as per the understandings of July 2005 and March 2006. While most defence
analysts and nuclear scientists have been strongly in favour of the proposed co-operation, a
few have expressed some concerns. Government take due note of the issues raised and proceeds
in the best interests of the country.
