Question : NSSIC Scheme

(a) the details of ongoing schemes of National Small Scale Industries Corporation for North Eastern States and other States including Assam and Haryana;

(b) the assistance provided to North Eastern States and other states including Assam and Haryana by the National Small Scale Industries Corporation under the Raw Material Assistance Scheme during the last three years; and

(c) whether the Government has also received complaints of irregularities in this regard; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a)&(b): The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), a PSU under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, provides integrated support services to MSMEs throughout the country including North Eastern States under marketing, technology, finance and other support services. The assistance provided by NSIC under its various programmes in North Eastern States and other States including Assam and Haryana during last three years is given at Annexure.

(c)&(d): Action in respect irregularities, if any, is taken by NSIC as per rules on a continuing basis as and when any such instance is brought to their notice. Further, an online Portal “champions.gov.in” has been launched on 01.06.2020. This covers many aspects of e-governance including grievance redressal and handholding of MSMEs. Through the portal, total 221 grievances relating to NSIC have been replied upto 07.12.2021.
