(b) if so, whether Government has formulated any scheme to develop such sites in States; and

(a) and (b): Ministry of Tourism extends financial assistance for developing tourist
sites on the basis of proposals received from the State Governments/Union Territory
Administrations under its scheme of Product/Infrastructure Development of Destinations
and Circuits .
(c): The details of assistance provided to the State Governments/UT Administrations
during the year 2004-05 upto 31.12.2004 is as per Annexure.
