(a) and (b) Yes,Madam.Some cases of malpractices e.g. overcharging, demanding money
for providing accommodation, carrying passengers without proper tickets etc. against
Train Ticket Examiners (TTEs) have come to notice through complaints and also during
Railway’s internal checks. Regular preventive checks are conducted and special
drives are launched to curb such activities. Defaulting staff is taken up severely.
