Question : Breach of Aadhaar Card Data

Will the Minister of ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:

(a) whether Aadhaar card data of about thirteen crores people has been breached in recent times and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether bank accounts of those whose Aadhaar were linked with them have been compromised and if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) whether Aadhaar card data of about thirteen crores people has been breached in recent times and if so, the details thereof;

(c) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) and (b): No such instance has come to the notice of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
(c): Does not arise in view of (a) & (b) above.
