Question : Lower Tapti Project

(a) whether the Government has accorded approval to the lower Tapti Project of Maharashtra, if so, the details thereof;
(b) if not, the reasons therefor and the current status of the project; and
(c) the steps taken/to be taken to approve the project and provide requisite funds for its implementation at the earliest?

(a) to (c) The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Lower Tapi project of Maharashtra has been received in CWC. The Project Authority have submitted the compliance on design of embankment aspects on 14.10.2016. The proposal is currently under examination of CWC.
