(a) whether the Government is considering to frame an anti-conversion law and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government has discussed the issue with various Political
Parties and other stakeholders; and
(c) if so, the details and the outcome thereof ?

(a) to (c): As per the available information, some of the States viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha have enacted laws providing for the prohibition of the conversion from one religious faith to any other religious faith by the use of force or inducement or by fraudulent means etc. The Central Government has not initiated any discussion with the political parties/religious leaders on the matter of framing an anti-conversion legislation.
