PROJECTS WITH FOREIGN COLLABORATION
(a) to (c) : Yes, Sir. There are 59 private power projects
involving investment by foreign companies, which require
techno-economic clearance of Central Electricity Authority. Out of
these, agreements have been signed by State Governments in respect of
20 projects during the first three years of the Ninth Plan period
(1997-2002). The State-wise details and salient features of these 20
projects are given below:
