ANNEXURE
Annexure refer to in reply to part (e) of the Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No.1684 to be answered on 25.7.2002 raised by Shri A. Narendra regarding Automobile Industries.
According to Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers production can not be shown state wise as the various states do not have vehicle producing units. However the data relating to sales can be given year-wise, state wise and unit wise. Therefore information as sought for in part (e) of the question is given in two tables. Table A contains the production of vehicles year-wise and unit-wise and Table-B contains sales figures year wise, unit wise and state wise.
