(a) the State-wise amount of loan sanctioned by National Bank for Agriculture and
Rural Development for irrigation projects during the last three years;
(b) the terms and conditionsforthe above mentioned loan; and
(c) the extent to which the above mentioned loan is going to fulfil the requirements
of irrigation projects of various States?
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI BALASAHEB VIKHE PATH):
(a) The State-wise details of loans sanctioned to State Governments under Rural
Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural
Development (NABARD) for irrigation projects during the last three years are given in
Statement-I. Further, NABARD aiso extends refinance support to banks against their
oniending to agricultre including minor irrigation activities. The State-wise details of
NABARD assistance in this regard are given in Statement-II.
(b) The general terms and conditions for RIDF loan for the irrigation projects are
given in Statement-III. The terms and conditions of sanction under refinance support for
minor irrigation activities are given in Statement-IV.
(c) The details of the number of total projects sanctioned under RIDF and the potential
created in the irrigation sector during the last three years are indicated below:
