Question : EU REPORT ON KASHMIR

(a) whether the European Union has criticized Pakistan in its draft report titled “Kashmir: Present situation and Future Prospects”;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government has studied this report; and

(d) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a) to (d) The Committee of Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament has completed consideration of an ‘Own Initiative Report’ on Kashmir: the present situation and future prospects. The report has not yet been adopted by the European Parliament where it can undergo further change and hence there is no clarity regarding the final report.
