(a) whether seven new private airports are proposed to be set up in Andhra Pradesh;
(b) if so, the details thereof, location-wise;
(c) whether the promoters have asked for business guarantee from the Government;
(d) if so, the reaction of the Government in this regard; and
(e) the steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Union Government in setting up/upgradation of airports in the said State?

(a): No, Sir. Government of India has not received any new proposal for setting up of private airports in Andhra Pradesh.

(e) Airports Authority of India has modernisation plans for airports at Visakhapatanam, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Warangal, Cuddapah & Donakonda.
